This is the second edition of a text developed for Japanese language volunteers and students in local volunteer Japanese language classes that combines communicating in an enjoyable manner while actually studying Japanese. Within the 2 units of the book are more than 6 topics of conversation (the seeds of chatting: questions, illustrations, graphs, etc.) that can be immediately used as they are. In this second edition, the contents of the book have been completely brought up-to-date, to allow the learner to chat about modern-day society. With its inclusion of 4 beginner-level grammatical structures, it is also a good starting point for learners to study Japanese in a proper way.

N.B.: This book has no translation into English, and so it does require a speaker of Japanese to act as instructor or leader of the conversation.
